Violentor Band Portrait

Holy cow! These Italians really know how to rock n roll! Just got a chance to listen to this bad boy and I gotta tell you, it simply kicks butt! Hard rockin' guitar work and gruff vocals with insane bass lines and beats will have you desperately looking for the nearest mosh!

You know damn well that I try to avoid comparing bands to others, hell even some bands do this injustice to themselves; "Hey if you like Iron Maiden, then you'll love us!', but in the case of Violentor it's hard not to draw comparisons to the likes of Motörhead, I mean geezus, the vocals are as if Lemmy had a brother we didn't know about! But DO NOT BE MISTAKEN, VIolentor is not some Motörhead worshipping band, fuck no, it's just that the closest I can come to the vocal and rockin' style is Motörhead with a squeeze of Venom, a pinch of, dare I say, early Metallica and dash of Priest (check out "Genocide")!

Even Lemmy's irrefutable humor on many a Motörhead track can be heard on the insta-classic "My Stomach Strong and Fit" which, by the way, has some sick crunchy guitar work and smokin' leads!
I mean, these guys go above and beyond, even touching a tad bit on a crusty style of rockin' at times; it seems they are blending up everyone of your favorite bands, hittin' frappe and serving it up red fucking HOT! Hell, you gotta check out the black metal styled operatic intro to "Dismiss Evil" then compare it to the sick ass punk bass lines of "Go To Hell" and you'll understand where I am coming from.

This album is as solid debut as they come, Violentor's talent can't be refuted; fast, fun and hard hittin' what more do you need?
