First off, Ripple Music, in celebration of the one year anniversary, offers an incredible 12 track sampler which is a collection of some really awesome tracks from Ripple's artist roster. It's got everything from stoner rock to heavy metal, you should really check it.
Another Free offering is from Deathwish Inc as a part of their "Live Series" which are recorded from various sources, shows, bootlegs, etc and that are given away to the public as a show of appreciation for supporting independent music.

Now as you know, we recently had the opportunity to interview Ron "Raygunn" Swiney from the Austin D-beat outfit Deadly Reign and review their new album "No End In Sight". Seems like the ghost of the Dead Kennedys is haunting us 'cause we have news relating to two former members of the legendary band: Jello Biafra and East Bay Ray.

For you grind freaks out there our buds over at Give Praise Records, whom we just did a giveaway with, says that they are gonna release a new Discography Cassette of Black Market Fetus which will take all the collection of 7"s that BMF has put it out and brings them together for the first time!! Some exciting news coming outta Chicago, thrashmetal band Diamond Plate is going to release the album "Generation Why?" on August 9th! This album is gonna rock, it was produced by the legendary Neil Vernon who has worked with such acts as Judas Priest, Nevermore, Deicide, 3 Inches of Blood among others. Now news coming in from the bay; progressive metal-heads Cormorant are about to release the follow up to their 2009 mind-melting debut "Metazoa" (have a listen below), and this one's gonna be titled "Dwellings". Apparently this bad boy is gonna hit shelves sometime mid-fall, so you need to keep up with these guys and jump on that album once it's out.
More free songs! How about some thrash metal from Chilean hitmen Criminal? Criminal, who hail from the South American Nation of Chile, but who are now based out of the metal haven of the U.K. are giving away tracks from their upcoming seventh album " Akelarre " which is to be released by Massacre Records and can be had on their FB page!
And for those of you who dig the "traditional" style of metal, the arena anthems of old, there comes word that Los Angeles based White Wizzard is set to release their fourth album entitled "Flying Tigers" on September 19th via Earache Records, listen to the recently released "Starchild" below which features Wyatt "Screamin' Demon" Anderson on vocals!
