I got this ep and threw it on and straight off I was stoked. This Detroit band busts right out of the gate with a killer track that is fast and tight and leave me awestruck!
Awesome drumming and delicious riffage combined with guttural vocals make this ep a dark, pummeling record that all thrash punks should love. Serious thrash interrupted by some mid tempo stuff gives this plenty of texture too.
The lyrics deal with life in our modern world and the desolation and decay therein, and the fleeting nature of life itself. I can tell the image on the cover is really cool but the black on black printing makes it really hard to see. The lyric sheet says it was recorded back in 2007 so I don't know if these guys are still active but I hope to hear another record from these guys soon. My copy is on really cool dark grey and black vinyl too which I always like.
A great release for World Funeral records from Seattle. Awesome!
